Relaxing and fun! Our monthly Red Hat luncheon was a hit here! Most of the ladies had never eaten at Irie and it was a great experience for them! Several were adventurous and tried different foods. We loved the music--sets the tone. Mr. Jackson, the owner, served us and was very cordial. He patiently explained the ingredients and spices. (He saved me from ordering a dish that had hidden onions!) I heard our ladies saying they would come back on their own! I hope they do.

Irie Diner was delicious!!! The oxtail was so tender, the meat practically fell off the bone. It was so rich with flavor and definitely worth the hype. The roti accompanied the meat well. The jerk chicken was also a good choice, the chicken was seasoned well and cooked very tender. The restaurant was a pretty big size that can fit quite a bit of people. The staff was very friendly as well. I would recommend Irie Diner for sure!

Had some of the best authentic Caribbean food to have ever graced my palette. The subtle and clean flavor from the fried conch balls paired with their pineapple dipping sauce was a great way to open up my dinning experience. The jerk chicken was marinated and grilled to perfection, rice and beans were exceptionally tender and fried plantains were moist with a satisfying crispy edge with sauce on the side to tie everything together. The service was also phenomenal with the owner greeting our table and connecting with us. Our server Kristeena provided great recommendations for dishes and complementary flavor profiles. Irie's ambiance is one that is relaxing for the mind and soul. Calm earth tones paint the walls of their establishment and low volume smooth jazz and R&B play from the speakers. The crowd was calm and the staff very easy going. If you're looking for an establishment with high quality food and adequate prices this is the place to be!

What an amazing meal. We were so pleased with our experience! The owner greeted us super friendly, and as soon as he saw my hijab (and confirmed it was a hijab), he told us what options were good for us. My husband had the goat and I had the fish. The cabbage wasn't over cooked like many Caribbean places and YES ask for the the pepper sauce!!! The home made pineapple juice was also phenomenal. We'll definitely come back if we're ever in the area again.

I was in the mood for Jamaican style oxtails and this place did no disappoint. We started our meal with Irie mojitos which were very tasty. We then ordered oxtails, rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains. The oxtails were tender and falling off the bone and Full of flavor. The rice and peas were flavorful but just a bit dry for my liking. The plantains were cooked to perfection. My sister enjoyed her brown stew chicken with the same sides as I. The owner even came around to help us feel more welcome and ensure we were enjoying our meal. I definitely recommend and would try this place again.
